The ERSA congress brought over 700 international experts in the area of urban and regional science to Cork last week August 28th to 31st. The #ERSACORK2018 congress proved to be an extremely busy event for me where I participated in the opening session on Irish urban challenges, a young scholars round table on the future of regional science, a quality of life panel discussion with Cork Chamber and Cork City Council and four co-authored research paper presentations on areas such as regional resilience, entrepreneurial start-ups, and absorptive capacity and individual well-being in Ireland and Europe. Below are some pictures from the week's activities.
